TRAGIC NEWS;CELTICS KEY PLAYER HAVE AN ACCIDENT IN MOTOR CRASH TODAY MORNING IN ….

Big Day for CDC: #20Million Memorial and Auto Crash Report -- Occupational Health & Safety

When watching Tatum play this season, Hanlen’s advice seems to be paying off. Tatum has incorporated more physicality into his offensive approach. He’s working out of the post more, driving to the rim with force and he’s embracing his size and length when rotating over on defense.

The Celtics will need that level of competitiveness from their star player when the postseason begins. Entering the playoffs as the best team in the league will ensure the Celtics are being hunted by everyone they face.

If Tatum can lead the Celtics to a championship this season, he will cement himself as a top-five player in the NBA. Hanlen has been working with him toward that goal for multiple years. Boston added two All-Star caliber players this past summer, Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, who have taken the franchise to another level.

Everyone on Boston’s roster has had to sacrifice parts of their game. Tatum’s complete skillset has allowed him to thrive in difficult circumstances. He’s also allowed others to thrive around him. Nevertheless, his nasty streak will need to shine through during the playoffs.

Celtics fans will be hoping that Hanlen is in his ear urging him to keep his foot on the gas and to forget about being the nice guy we see off the court
