Caruso’s journey to success in the NBA took an unconventional path. After going undrafted following his college career at Texas A&M, Caruso caught the attention of the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2017 Summer League, leading to his signing with the team. Initially serving as a backup for Lonzo Ball in the backcourt, the 6’5″ guard gradually earned more playing time as he showcased his skills on the court
