Report now suggests Newcastle have made huge contact with AC Milan super porpest over £25m move

Newcastle United apparently contacted another Italian club about a central defender after asking Juventus about Dean Huijsen.

The Magpies appear to be casting a broad net, having recently contacted Juventus for information on 19-year-old defender Dean Huijsen.

According to Football Insider, Newcastle is interested in signing AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori.

The England international defender who was strangely omitted from Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 squad has emerged as a possible target for Eddie Howe.

For now, a pinch of salt will enough.
This is another tale that we’d have to take with a grain of salt, given that it comes from Football Insider’s “sources,” which is generally code for “It’s a slow news day, so we made something up”.

Tomori appeared in both Champions League games against Newcastle last season and looked quite good.

The 26-year-old joined Milan from Chelsea in 2021 and has made 142 appearances for the Italian giants.

We’re hoping there’s some truth in the report.
While we’re not persuaded there’s much truth to this one, we’re hoping there is.

AC Milan signed Tomori from Chelsea for £25 million, so we’d expect to pay more to bring him back to the Premier League, but if he’s available, we say go for it.

We’ve been fans of Tomori for a while, and if there’s a chance for him to return to the Premier League with Newcastle, we’d be overjoyed.
