Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and the rest of the Chiefs received their new Super Bowl rings on Thursday night… and the jewelry was so loaded with diamonds and rubies that the players couldn’t wait to show them off!!
The men received their championship rings — their third in the last five years — at a special ceremony in Kansas City, and once the jewelry was removed from a sealed box, it was clear that all of the guys were smitten with the items.
Each one contains 529 diamonds and 38 rubies. The ice also features an open top that pays reference to the “Tom & Jerry” play that won Super Bowl LVIII. The last names of each player and coach are also inscribed on it.
Throughout the night, all of the males posed for photos with the new ring, with Brittany Mahomes releasing a slew of shots on her social media page that captured the room’s genuine jubilation.
Unfortunately for Kelce, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was unable to attend the festivities because she is still overseas performing on her “Eras” tour, but eagle-eyed Swifties appeared to snap her watching the event on Instagram nevertheless.
The Chiefs will return to work shortly — training camp for the 2024 season is only a few weeks away — but for the mean being, the players will have plenty of time to enjoy their latest fashion statements!
