The rising star reportedly died after being removed from life support at a hospital.

A spokesman from her management team told The Shade Room that the 26-year-old was experiencing withdrawal symptoms and had overdosed.

“She came to my house during the last four days to clean. She gave it her all, and I did everything I could to aid her,” the rep told the site.

According to her 1017 Records page, which is still current on the label’s website, Enchanting “began to pursue music around the age of 18,” and began focused on her craft after graduating from high school.

The rapper discussed trying to create her own style after believing she sounded like “a little baby” earlier in her career.

“I had to get comfortable with my voice,” she explained on 1017’s website. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”

She elaborated on her style, saying, “It’s like Trap-n-Blues.”

“Others can relate to what I say. “I might help somebody through any situation, and they can listen to me and find peace,” the rapper said.

In a 2021 interview, she described herself as a “army brat” who was born in Germany and now lives in Fort Worth, Texas, having previously lived in Atlanta until fifth grade.

Her song “He Can’t Reach” was also featured on HBO’s Rap Sh!t season 2 album, according to iHeartRadio, which cited Issa Rae’s Raedio imprint.
