Francesco Bagnaia risponde con 4 parole all’ex compagno degli Usa accusato di errore in Germania; potrebbe essere la svolta della stagione

Francesco Bagnaia took the lead in the MotoGP World Championship with four consecutive wins on Sunday, benefiting from Jorge Martín’s collision and abandonment in the German Grand Prix.

The Spaniard began the Sachsenring round on a high note, winning the Sprint race and increasing his lead to 15 points. Martín retired from the main race after making a mistake and crashing one lap before the finish. Bagnaia (Ducati) was in second place at the time, but he eventually took the lead and won.

The Italian now leads the title with 222 points, 10 ahead of Martín. Furthermore, he enters the summer break with a high level of desire and confidence, having won four consecutive races, two of which were combined Sprint victories.

This moment could be a turning point in the championship. Martín led since the Portuguese GP and held a 38-point lead over Bagnaia following the French GP. Since then, the 2022 and 2023 champion has had a solid run of results, losing no major races.

Taking the lead at this stage boosts the Ducati rider’s confidence and motivation, especially given his current performance run. Martín’s mistake in the German Grand Prix may have impacted his confidence, resurrecting old fears. He fell while leading the Spanish Grand Prix earlier this year and the Indonesian Grand Prix in 2023.
