I’d love it’: Trent Barrett confirms interest in vacant Parramatta Eels head coaching role

Parramatta Eels interim coach Trent Barrett has confirmed his interest in the position full time.

Speaking on 2GB’s Continuous Call Team on Saturday, Barrett said this experience at Parramatta was “completely different” to elsewhere.

Barrett has had two previous stints as head coach with Manly and then the Bulldogs, before moving to the Eels to work under Brad Arthur last year.

Yeah,” came the reply. “I didn’t want to say too much the first few weeks. It’s always a hard one when you’re very close to the head coach and there’s movement there,” Barrett said.
