Tragedy struck the National Hockey League on Tuesday evening, as the Calgary Flames team bus was involved in a devastating accident on their way to Vancouver for a road game against the Canucks.
According to reports, the bus was traveling on Highway 1 when it suddenly lost control and veered off the road, crashing into a nearby ditch. Emergency services were quickly called to the scene, and multiple players and staff members were rushed to nearby hospitals with various injuries.
