‎TRAGIC REPORT: Deadly Blaze Devastates Swindon Multiple Homes Destroyed in Tragic Fire Affecting…..

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Several crews from here in the east are collecting donations and heading over to the west to help those who Helene has severely impacted.

 

Amid devastation and catastrophic damage across the western part of North Carolina due to tropical storm Helene, Lenoir County deputies are gearing up to help.

 

“The county and the western part of the state is devastated at the loss of life and property so we want to assist in whatever way we can,” Sheriff, Jackie Rogers said.

 

Lenoir County Sheriff Jackie Rogers and four deputies loaded up a trailer full of donated non-perishable items such as water, canned goods, toiletries, and generators Tuesday morning to bring to Madison County residents.
