TRAGIC LOSS: Just now; Fire engulf the house of Tampa By Rays head coach Kevin Cash killing 3 house help and sending his wife at the hospital

In a devastating turn of events, tragedy struck the home of Tampa Bay Rays head coach Kevin Cash earlier today, as a fierce fire tore through his family residence in the early hours of the morning.

According to reports from the Tampa Fire Department, emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 3:20 a.m. after neighbors reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the upscale Hyde Park home. Firefighters arrived within minutes and battled the blaze for over two hours before bringing it under control.

Sadly, three live-in housekeepers—whose names have not yet been released—were found deceased inside the property. All three are believed to have been sleeping on the upper floor and were unable to escape the inferno.

Coach Kevin Cash was reportedly away with the team on a road trip, but his wife, Emily Cash, was at home during the incident. She was rescued from the property suffering from smoke inhalation and minor burns, and was immediately rushed to Tampa General Hospital, where she remains in stable but critical condition.

Local authorities have begun a full investigation into the cause of the fire, though early indications suggest it may have been sparked by an electrical fault in the kitchen area.

The Tampa Bay Rays organization has released a brief statement expressing their “heartbreak and support” for the Cash family during this incredibly difficult time.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Kevin and his family,” said Rays general manager Erik Neander. “This is a devastating loss, and we will be doing everything we can to support him.”

Neighbors and fans alike have begun to gather outside the home, leaving flowers and notes of condolence on the front lawn. A candlelight vigil is being planned for this evening.
