Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen have been suspended and gave fans a moment of concern during Sunday’s matchup against the Houston Texans after taking a brutal hit from behind by defensive end Will Anderson Jr. The impact sent Allen crashing hard to the turf, leaving him slow to get up and prompting immediate attention from the Bills’ medical staff.

Early reports indicated that Allen experienced brief numbness in his left shoulder and elbow, raising fears of a more serious injury. However, after being evaluated on the sideline, the star quarterback was cleared to return.

Allen made his way back onto the field with his usual confidence and soon led the Bills on a successful field-goal drive, easing concerns and demonstrating once again why he’s considered one of the toughest quarterbacks in the league.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Allen downplayed the incident.
“Just a left shoulder — went a little numb on me. We’re good,” he said, signaling that the scare was temporary and not expected to affect his availability going forward.

This isn’t the first time Allen has shown remarkable resilience on the field. Known for playing through pain and bouncing back quickly from hard hits, he has built a reputation as one of the NFL’s most durable and competitive quarterbacks. Throughout the season, Allen has continued to lead the Bills to key victories, highlighting both his physical toughness and his leadership under pressure.

Despite Sunday’s scare, the Bills appear confident that their franchise quarterback avoided serious injury and will be ready to continue the team’s push through the season.
