Carter, whose iconic walk-off home run in the 1993 World Series remains one of the greatest moments in Canadian sports history, will now lend his decades of experience and championship mindset to the next generation of Blue Jays players.
“I’m thrilled to be back home,” Carter said during a press conference held at the Rogers Centre. “Toronto has always been family to me. I’m looking forward to helping these young men chase the same dream we did — bringing another World Series title to this incredible city.”
