shocking decision: Kentucky Men’s Basketball Game Against Brown Suddenly Canceled Due to Unforeseen Circumstances……

Tragic Collapse of Sherman Minton Bridge After Final Phase Completion: Lives Lost, Investigation Underway into What Went Wrong. The Seattle Seahawks have no shortage of question marks entering the offseason, as the statuses of several key players are up in the air, including quarterback Geno Smith.

While Smith has been a solid starter over three season, the Seahawks haven’t made much progress with him under center. Seattle has made just one postseason trip in that span, and it was a one-and-done showing in 2022.

I do,” Macdonald said, per Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune. “I’ve gotten that question a lot. And I’ve answered it pretty consistently.”

Macdonald echoed what general manager John Schneider said earlier this week, although Schneider hinted that an extension with Smith could happen. The likely driving force behind that would be to clear up some cap space in the short term.

“Yeah, we’re going to meet with him this week, meet with his agent, see where it goes,” Schneider said of Smith. “We expect him to be our guy. But we want to do what’s right, too.”

As the Seahawks continue to back Smith, Macdonald did say that he would not rule out the team taking a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.

“If there’s an opportunity in any position including quarterback that’s great for us and it’s going to make us better you’ve got to consider it,” he said. “You’ve got to be able to make that decision.”

The most ideal scenario for Seattle would be to keep Smith for one more season and have a drafted quarterback sit behind him with the intention of elevating the youngster to the starting job in 2026.

However, don’t be surprised if the Seahawks tack on another year to Smith’s deal to help their financial situation in 2025.
