Upon arrival, Quint 70-5 encountered heavy fire throughout the structure. Deputy Chief Tom Moore assumed command, while Fire Chief Andy Johnson of Roxana VFC oversaw operations. Due to structural damage, a defensive attack was implemented. Additional units from neighboring stations provided crucial support. The fire was brought under control at 19:30 hours. Crews completed overhaul operations over the next four hours. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s (DSFM) office is investigating.
