Plans are already underway to begin construction on a new, state-of-the-art basketball stadium that will honor the legacy of the previous one and provide future generations of athletes with a modern and safe space to compete. The school district has committed to expediting the process, with the goal of having a new facility ready for use as soon as possible.

 

In the meantime, the *Colony Varsity Girls Basketball Team* is determined to keep moving forward. Although the loss of their home court is significant, the team is dedicated to continuing their season. Practices are now being held at nearby facilities, and games are being rescheduled at other venues until the new stadium is ready.

 

The spirit of the Colony Varsity Girls Basketball team has not been broken by this tragedy. They are determined to honor the memory of the gymnasium and the legacy it left behind by giving their best effort on the court every time they play.
