ESPN: WARRIORS REUNITE! Florida State Seminoles to Retire Deion Sanders’ Jersey Number……

Tallahassee, FL – In a move that will send shockwaves of excitement throughout the Florida State Seminoles community, the university has announced plans to retire the jersey number of legendary cornerback Deion Sanders.

Sanders, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Seminoles history, will have his iconic No. 2 jersey retired in a special ceremony during the team’s upcoming game against the Miami Hurricanes.

“We are thrilled to honor Deion Sanders, one of the most electrifying players to ever wear the Garnet and Gold,” said Florida State University President, Richard McCullough. “His contributions to our program are immeasurable, and we look forward to celebrating his legacy with our fans.”

The ceremony will take place on November 12th, and will feature a special presentation to Sanders, as well as a video tribute highlighting his accomplishments on and off the field.
