The Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl was a tough pill to swallow for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift — in more ways Jo than one.
It was a heartbreaking way for Kelce and the Chiefs to end their season after they were denied of what could have been an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.
Swift, on the other hand, was savagely booed by the Eagles fans in attendance at New Orleans’ Superdome. This unexpected turn of events reportedly led to some “weird tension” in her relationship with Kelce.
According to a report by the booing incident forced Swift and Kelce to “re-evaluate” their relationship amid “awkward chats with their teams about when they should step out in public and what the vibe should even be like.”
This has reportedly left Swift “a little shaken,” while friends and family have been left “worried about the couple and hoping they can navigate through this tricky phase in their love saga.”
All this has led to speculation from fans that a breakup between the high-profile couple could be imminent.
“I smell a new breakup album and I hope he knows all the Swifties will hate him for life,” a comment on Facebook read.
“Good news, the next album will be entirely about him…” read another.
“The contract finally up??” asked a user, referencing an alleged breakup contract between Swift and Kelce.
“Interesting exit strategy on her part,” accused a reader.
“That dude is sooo ready to jump ship it ain’t funny. He’s stayed waaay too long at the fake fantasy fair,” another said of Kelce.
