BROWNSBURG, IN — In what can only be described as one of the most jaw-dropping moments in recent drag racing history, John Force — the 75-year-old legend and 16-time NHRA Funny Car World Champion — is officially back behind the wheel and ready to roar at the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals, kicking off August 27th.

After nearly a year of recovery following a horrifying crash in Virginia last summer, Force has stunned the motorsports world by announcing his return to competition at the most iconic event in drag racing.

🗣️ “I’m not done yet. I’ve still got fire in the tank—and the fans deserve one more ride,” said Force, with a grin that could melt Goodyear slicks.

With the full support of Cornwell Quality Tools, who have doubled down as title sponsor for both the event and the John Force Racing Funny Cars, this year’s U.S. Nationals is shaping up to be the most anticipated showdown in a decade.
