In a jaw-dropping act of generosity, former Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White has donated her entire $180 million post-career bonus and sponsorship earnings to support charities, homeless relief efforts, and food insecurity programs across the United States.
White, a respected figure in the WNBA both as a player and a coach, made the announcement early Friday morning at a press conference held outside Lucas Oil Stadium. Flanked by representatives from local shelters, veteran organizations, and food banks, White shared her deeply personal motivation behind the historic donation.
“There are millions of people struggling every day — families without homes, kids without food, veterans without support,” White said emotionally. “This is to let them know that they are not forgotten. It’s not enough to just succeed in life — we have a duty to lift others up as we rise.”
The donation will be distributed among more than 200 organizations nationwide, including:

- National Alliance to End Homelessness
- The Wounded Warrior Project

- Indianapolis Coalition for Homeless Intervention & Prevention (CHIP)
