In a stunning development only moments ago, Penrith Panthers head coach Ivan Cleary has officially submitted his resignation, ending a highly successful era with the club.
According to an initial statement released by the Panthers, Clearyโs decision stems from personal and family-related reasons, with the veteran coach informing club officials earlier today before addressing the playing group.
Cleary expressed deep gratitude to the Panthers organization, players, and supporters, noting that stepping away was โthe most difficult decision of my professional life,โ but emphasized that the timing was necessary to focus on commitments outside of rugby league.
