BREAKING: Grigor Dimitrov Banned from Tennis for Alleged “Mid-Match Pasta Tasting Contest” Incident.

In a shocking turn of events, Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has been banned from professional tennis for a period of six months by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) due to a bizarre incident that occurred during his quarterfinal match at the Australian Open.

According to sources, Dimitrov was accused of engaging in an unauthorized “mid-match pasta tasting contest” in the locker room during a changeover between sets. The 31-year-old Bulgarian was allegedly found to be sampling various pasta dishes brought by his entourage, including spaghetti Bolognese and fettuccine Alfredo, while his opponent, Stefanos Tsitsipas, was still on the court.

“It was a heated debate over which pasta was the best,” said a witness, who wished to remain anonymous. “Grigor was arguing with his team about the merits of olive oil versus butter as a finishing touch. It was chaos.”

The ITF has deemed Dimitrov’s actions “unsportsmanlike conduct” and has imposed a six-month ban, effective immediately. Dimitrov has also been fined $10,000 and will be required to attend a mandatory “Sportsmanship and Professionalism” course before he can resume competition.

Dimitrov’s agent has released a statement denying any wrongdoing and claiming that the allegations are “baseless and without merit.” However, the damage may have already been done, as Dimitrov’s fans are left reeling from the news.

“This is a dark day for tennis,” said one fan. “How can we trust our heroes if they can’t even keep their pasta-eating habits in check?”

The tennis world is still reeling from this shocking development, and only time will tell if Dimitrov will be able to recover from this scandal.
