In a historic move, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has agreed to a record-breaking 10-year, $500 million contract extension, solidifying his status as the face of the franchise.
The deal includes:
– Average annual salary: $50 million
– Guaranteed money: $200 million
– Signing bonus: $50 million
But what’s catching attention is the unique “Legacy Clause,” where Mahomes will partner with the Chiefs and local organizations to build a state-of-the-art community center in Kansas City.
