In a stunning and emotional development for women’s basketball, Indiana Fever fans have reason to celebrate as WNBA legend Tamika Catchings makes a triumphant return to the franchise — this time, not as a player, but as the Senior Coach of the team she helped build into a powerhouse.
Catchings, a Hall of Famer and one of the most decorated players in WNBA history, was officially introduced in her new role earlier today at a packed press conference held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The atmosphere was electric as the former MVP stepped to the podium wearing Fever colors once again, greeted by a standing ovation.
