IT IS OVER: Baltimore Orioles Superstar Adley Rutschman has been Banned from N……. view more

In a jaw-dropping development that no one saw coming, Baltimore Orioles catcher and fan-favorite Adley Rutschman has officially been BANNED from the National… Cornhole League.

Yes. You read that right.

While rumors initially swirled online with cryptic headlines like “Rutschman BANNED from the N…”, many assumed the worst — perhaps a suspension from Major League Baseball, or an international travel ban, or even a Netflix documentary gone wrong.

But the truth is somehow more ridiculous and more hilarious than anyone expected.

What Did He Do?!

According to sources close to the NCL (National Cornhole League), Rutschman was participating in an offseason celebrity charity cornhole tournament in Des Moines, Iowa, when things took a competitive turn.

“He just started fastballing beanbags at the board from 60 feet away,” said one stunned participant. “Like… real windup, 90 mph velocity. He shattered the board in half. It was terrifying. And honestly? Impressive.”

Video from the event shows Rutschman yelling “Play ball!” before launching a bag clean through a vendor tent and knocking over the league commissioner’s soda.

League officials deemed the behavior “reckless, intimidating, and in clear violation of our no-pitching policy.”

Official Statement from the League

The National Cornhole League released a formal statement hours later:

“While we respect Adley Rutschman’s athleticism and competitive spirit, cornhole is a game of finesse, not fastballs. We regret to inform the public that Mr. Rutschman is permanently banned from all NCL-sanctioned events. Yes, even the backyard ones.”

Adley’s Response?

Rutschman, in true form, responded on Instagram Stories with a simple photo of himself holding a crushed cornhole board and the caption:

“They should’ve built it stronger 💪”

He later added:

“Back to baseball, I guess.”

Orioles Organization Reacts

The Baltimore Orioles organization had no official comment, though insiders say several players were seen “trying to replicate the beanbag fastball in the bullpen.”

Manager Brandon Hyde reportedly told pitchers:

“If Adley can hit a hole from 60 feet, y’all better hit the glove.”

Fans React

Fans across social media have already dubbed the incident:

#BagGate
#CornholeControversy
#RutschmanLaunches

One viral tweet summed it up best:

“Adley got banned from cornhole for throwing heat. Legend.”
