In an emotional post shared to his official social media account, Alomar confirmed that his daughter, Robyn Alomar, has been involved in a serious accident late Thursday night. While the details remain private out of respect for the family, sources close to Alomar describe the situation as “critical but stable.”
“This is the hardest message I’ve ever had to write,” Alomar shared. “My daughter, Robyn, is strong — just like her mother. We’re asking for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
The news has sent shockwaves through the sports world, with fellow former teammates, MLB organizations, and fans flooding social media with messages of support. Former Blue Jays teammate Joe Carter wrote:
