
In an emotional press conference at Hard Rock Stadium, Csonka stated:
> “My heart never left Miami. This team is part of my soul. I’m back to help build a culture of toughness, unity, and the kind of championship mindset we had in the ’70s.”
Csonka, a Hall of Famer, was the cornerstone of the Dolphins’ perfect 1972 season and two Super Bowl victories. Now, he returns to guide a new generation of stars with the same fire and focus that made him a football icon.
Head Coach Mike McDaniel welcomed Csonka with open arms:
