roster, power forward Anthony Davis has signed a new multi-year contract extension, cementing his place at the heart of the team’s future.

Sources close to the team confirmed that Davisโ decision to extend his stay in Dallas was driven largely by his growing chemistry with Luka Donฤiฤ, the Mavericksโ franchise cornerstone, and the franchiseโs bold vision for the future.

The Mavericks acquired Davis in a blockbuster trade from the Lakers last season, a move that was seen as a high-risk gamble given his injury history. But the gamble has paid off โ and then some.

In the 2024โ25 season, Davis reminded the league why heโs one of the most complete big men in NBA history, averaging 24.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game, while anchoring the Mavericksโ top-five defense.

The Deal
While the Mavericks have not officially disclosed the financial terms, league insiders estimate the extension to be a four-year deal worth north of $200 million, keeping Davis in Dallas through
