Sky LIVE : Zirkzee’s gives respond milan lower commission request – it might work

AC Milan is intent on signing Joshua Zirkzee this summer, and after agreeing to pay his release clause, they must reach an agreement with his agency. However, as a report points out, this is proving quite tough.

Zirkzee has a €40 million release clause, and Milan has already informed Bologna that they are ready to exercise it. However, they have been unable to strike an arrangement with Zirkzee’s representative, Kia Joorabchian, who initially requested a staggering €15 million in commission.

According to MilanNews, journalist Manuele Baiocchini provided an update on the Zirkzee negotiations while appearing live on Sky Italia. Milan is doing everything possible to reduce the request, but as expected, we are now at a stage where a decision must be made quickly.

“Milan want Zirkzee as a starting striker, but there are Premier League teams that can afford to pay 5-10 million more, while Milan want to be careful, and rightfully so, to make ends meet, especially in the early stages of the market, and avoid depleting the budget.

“The Rossoneri want to pay an appropriate price for the Dutchman. And, at the moment, Zirzkee’s agent hasn’t decreased his demands, so we’ll need to see if the parties are able or willing to work together in the coming days,” he said.

Comparing Zirkzee to other strikers on the market, €40 million is a bargain, and it was never going to finish there. Milan is expected to pay a bit more (maybe €5-10 million) for their new striker this summer.
