From lining up water bottles at the correct angle, to saluting the crowd correctly or the best ways to sign a camera, ‘The Masters’ Class’ offers insights into how to excel at some of tennis’ most undervalued skills. As Course Leader, former No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings Novak Djokovic, says of his current batch of student amateur players at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells: “If they can learn this, the sky is the limit.”

Djokovic’s teaching staff includes Tommy Paul (Senior Professor of bouncing a ball prior to a serve), Alex de Minaur (currently completing his PhD in changeover banana peeling) and Coco Gauff (bestselling author of Selfies 101: How To Keep The Fans Happy), while Alexander Bublik’s class ‘Keep Cool & Carry On: How To Handle Your Racquet In Difficult Moments’ is strictly for advanced students only.

With Emma Navarro, Grigor Dimitrov, Holger Rune, Maria Sakkari, Gael Monfils, Victoria Azarenka, Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur also offering classes, Djokovic has assembled a staggering lineup of tennis brains ready to pass on knowledge gained while competing on either the ATP Tour or Hologic WTA Tour.
