In a well-deserved recognition of his team’s outstanding performance, Kentucky Wildcats head coach Mark Pope has been named the Coach of the Week. The award comes after a string of impressive victories by the Wildcats, who have been dominating their opponents with a potent combination of offense and defense.
According to the numbers, the Wildcats have been on a tear, winning their last five games by an average margin of 15 points. During this stretch, the team has shot an impressive 52% from the field and 43% from three-point range, while holding their opponents to just 39% shooting from the field.
