Dallas Mavericks Injury Report: Latest update on Anthony Davis and P.J. Washington ahead of game vs

The Dallas Mavericks are grappling with significant injury challenges as they prepare to face the Miami Heat on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Key players Anthony Davis and P.J. Washington are both sidelined due to injuries.

Anthony Davis: In his debut game with the Mavericks against the Houston Rockets on February 8, Davis suffered a left adductor strain in the third quarter. Prior to his exit, he had an impressive performance with 26 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists. Reports indicate that Davis is expected to be out for multiple weeks, missing the upcoming game against the Heat.

P.J. Washington: Washington returned to the lineup after missing two games for personal reasons but sprained his right ankle just before halftime in the same game against the Rockets. He was ruled out for the remainder of that game. His status for the game against the Heat remains uncertain, as the team has not provided a definitive update on his condition.

These injuries add to the Mavericks’ existing challenges, with several other players also dealing with health issues. The team will need to rely on its depth and resilience as it faces the Heat without some of its key contributors.
