Trae Young Will Replace Giannis Antetokounmpo On Team Chuck For The 2025 NBA All-Star

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has been selected to replace the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. This marks Young’s fourth All-Star appearance.

Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks forward, suffered a left calf strain that has sidelined him since February 2, preventing his participation in the All-Star festivities.

Young is currently leading the league with 11.4 assists per game and averaging 23.5 points over 49 games this season.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game introduces a new format featuring a four-team, three-game mini-tournament. Young will join Team Chuck, drafted by TNT analyst Charles Barkley, alongside players like Nikola Jokić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Victor Wembanyama.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
