Joy Division released their seminal album, “Unknown Pleasures,” in 1979, which featured tracks like “Disorder” and “She’s Lost Control.” The band’s success was tragically cut short by the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis in May 1980, just before a scheduled tour.
