RICKY GERVAIS ANNOUNCES SURPRISE RETIREMENT FROM COMEDY, REVEALS PLANS TO OPEN ANIMAL SANCTUARY
In a shocking move, renowned comedian Ricky Gervais has announced his retirement from the entertainment industry to focus on his true passion: animal welfare.
Gervais, creator of “The Office” and “After Life,” revealed plans to open a 100-acre animal sanctuary in the English countryside.
“I’ve had an incredible run, but it’s time to prioritize what truly matters,” Gervais said. “I want to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.”
The sanctuary, dubbed “Gervais’ Haven,” will provide refuge for rescued farm animals, dogs, and wildlife.
Gervais’s Netflix special, “SuperNature,” will be his final stand-up performance.
