In a stunning move, Olympic gymnastics superstar Simone Biles has announced her retirement from competitive gymnastics to pursue a new passion – professional dancing.
According to sources close to Biles, she has been secretly training in various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop, and plans to audition for a spot on the popular TV show “Dancing with the Stars.”
“I’m excited to hang up my leotard and trade it in for dancing shoes,” Biles said in a statement. “Gymnastics will always be a part of me, but I’m ready for a new challenge and the opportunity to express myself through dance.”
Biles, widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, has won a record 25 world championship medals and 7 Olympic medals.
