- Lisa Kelly, the renowned ice road trucker and star of the hit TV show “Ice Road Truckers,” has achieved a remarkable feat by hauling the largest payload ever recorded on the treacherous Dalton Highway.
Kelly, known for her fearlessness and exceptional driving skills, successfully transported an astonishing 200,000 pounds of cargo – a massive generator bound for a remote Alaskan village – in a single trip. The impressive load was 50,000 pounds heavier than the previous record.
“I’ve faced many challenges on the ice roads, but this haul was the ultimate test,” Kelly said. “My Peterbilt 379 performed flawlessly, and my experience paid off. It’s a proud moment for me and my team!”
The historic haul was captured on camera for an upcoming special episode of “Ice Road Truckers,” set to air next season.
